Controller and draft status
The controller of this personal website is Ömer Faruk Şengül. Contact: omerfaruksng@gmail.com. This is a pre-launch draft describing the current application. The hosting provider, log retention, correspondence retention and transfer safeguards must be finalized before this becomes a final privacy notice.
Collection, purposes and legal grounds
When you send email, your name, email address, message and attachments are collected electronically from you to respond to your enquiry and discuss a potential agreement. Turkish Law No. 6698 Article 5(2)(c) may apply to processing directly related to concluding a contract; Article 5(2)(e) to establishing, exercising or protecting a right. Security-log processing under Article 5(2)(f) requires a documented legitimate-interest assessment against the actual log scope before launch.
Recipients and international transfers
Business correspondence is processed through Gmail. Social links take you to external platforms only when clicked; the site does not embed them. This preview is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. A separate public Sanity preview dataset manages the editor account and publishable content; permitted images load through Sanity CDN. The production domain is not connected yet. Any overseas infrastructure requires review of provider terms and an appropriate transfer mechanism under Article 9 of Law No. 6698. This draft does not claim those safeguards are already established.
Rights and requests
Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698 you may request information about processing, its purpose and recipients, correction of inaccurate data, deletion or destruction when the applicable conditions are met, and notification to recipients. You may object to adverse results based solely on automated analysis and seek compensation for unlawful processing. Send requests to the contact address below; identity verification and the statutory application procedure depend on the request.
Accessing the website
This website consists of static pages introducing the work of Ömer Faruk Şengül. There are no visitor accounts, application forms, payments or on-site message delivery.
Email and LinkedIn
An email link opens your email application. A message is transmitted through your provider only when you send it there. When you open LinkedIn, that service’s terms apply. Contact information and message content are used to assess and respond to your enquiry.
Browser and technical data
The website application uses no analytics, advertising trackers, external font services, cookies or persistent browser storage. The hosting/CDN service serving pages and images may keep technical access logs. Images added through the CMS may be served by Sanity CDN, which then receives the image request.
Sharing and retention
Please do not send confidential invention details or sensitive information about other people in the first message. Receiving a message does not constitute a project commitment or a confidentiality agreement. Email retention, access and deletion arrangements, along with hosting-provider practices, must be finalized against actual operations before public launch.
